How to host a best friend picnic in 30 minutes.

Picnic season has begun! My bestie and I both had lunch free so we decided to have an impromptu picnic!  There wasn’t much time to plan but picnics are a snap to put together.  Easy Peasy! How to picnicStep 1.  Dress for the occasion. Wear something that increases your happiness levels. IMG_1896

Step 2. Grab Supplies.  Don’t over think it.  Just grab something you can do to have a little fun if you exhaust your conversation or scarf your food down super fast.  I grabbed my instax mini camera, but you could be more into  a frisbee, or a book, or even a DIY project.  Don’t forget a blanket, and something cute to hold the food stuffs in.  I scored this adorable picnic basket a long time ago at the D.I. and have used it on many a picnickery.  IMG_1914

Here are a couple options I’d love to snag if I didn’t already have my little guy.

Step 3. Run to Whole Foods! Or any grocery store with a good salad bar. Throw in some spring mix, berries, nuts, bacon you name it, just make it big enough for 2.  Grab a bar of chocolate or pastry or a tasty treat. Don’t forget a drink. I threw some berries into a jar with some tropical carbonated juice.IMG_1918
